People who lack curiousity (and charm) aren’t unique. The same people lacked curiousity at thirty-something and now at 50-something they have just perfected it :). You also have 90 yr olds (men and women) who are vibrant, engaged and curious people who can beautifully dialogue with anyone about anything. I gently suggest that your observations of 50-something men is sample bias. It’s tempting to make generalizations but it’s kinder not to.
